One of my favorite ways to save money in our home is by using essential oils. Most people use essential oils to give their homemade cleaning products an extra boost, but certain brands can also be used therapeutically and even for cooking.
I used essential oils to boost my cleaners for years but now use them for things like:
- Treating ear infections
- Upset stomach
- Getting my kids to calm down
- Oil cleansing
- Immune system boosting
- Blasting athlete’s foot
- Making my bus smell all kinds of wonderful
My favorite essential oils come from doTERRA, a Utah-based company that strives to produce the highest quality essential oils possible. One way they do this is by creating relationships with local farmers in places where plants grow indigenously so they know that harmful chemicals aren’t being sprayed on said plants.
They also put each essential oil batch through multiple tests to ensure that they’re 100% pure and effective. This is probably why they’re one of the only essential oil brands you find with instructions for internal use.
As a doTERRA consultant, I highly recommend becoming a member and purchasing an enrollment kit that comes with at least the Family Physician Kit (a kit with 5 mL bottles of my top ten essential oils). This enables you to get 25% off all of your orders and earn free product when you use the monthly Loyalty Rewards Program.
Purchasing an enrollment kit also lets you save a bit more because you’re buying in bulk. Plus, they’re are often great promotions, like this one, that let you earn free oils.
However, I know some people can’t get big enrollment kits due to budget restrictions. Others want to give the oils a try before committing to a bigger kit. (Why buy a bigger kit if you’ll never use it, right?) Or you might just be looking for a great gift idea.
Enter the Essential Oil Sampler Set.
I love these essential oils. So much so, that I would send out doTERRA’s Family Physician Kit to anyone who can’t afford it if my budget allowed because I think they’re so beneficial.
Since that’s not feasible, I thought I’d offer this sampler set instead so you can try out most of the oils from the Family Physician Kit and see them in action.
This set is also wonderful for traveling (I keep one in my purse at all times) and is a great way to try out a wide variety of therapeutic-grade essential oils before committing to bigger bottles.
Each essential oil sampler set includes a doTERRA sample holder keychain with 8 *filled glass sample vials (5/8 dram) of the following essential oils:
- On Guard
*Each vial contains approximately 40 drops of essential oils (some oils are thicker than others and will fill up the vial with fewer drops).
And if you’re unsure how to use these fabulous essential oils, never fear. You’ll also get a link to my Essential Oil User Guide, which you can use online, send to your Kindle or print off to put in a binder or something.
